VMware Cloud services from Lunavi provide you with VMware virtual servers that can give you the same application performance and user experience you have in existing on-premise server infrastructure. Each virtual machine in the public IaaS environment is assigned virtual CPUs and RAM that are delivered dynamically from a pool of available physical server resources. On-demand scalable infrastructure allows you to add resources on the fly without downtime, with practically zero resource limits.
Cloud storage for virtual machines is tied to a datastore, which is hosted on our cloud storage platform. Lunavi cloud storage is available in a variety of performance configurations. VDCs typically host a Guest Operating System or third-party applications. Lunavi can pre-install your guest OS when requested and offers a variety of template machines ready to go. You are not required to use our licensing, but you'll want to ensure your OS is compatible with VMware. Compatible Guest Operating systems include every major vendor and open source provider, from Apple and Microsoft to Debian and CentOS.

APIs in vCloud Director are extensible platforms which allow users programmatic access to provisioning and management controls. Developers can write applications to manage virtualized resources in-house and then bridge to Lunavi cloud infrastructure. The API supports both upload and download, customization, and deployment of VM instances.
In addition, the API provides support for developer-built clients using the representational state transfer application development style (RESTful). The API clients and vCloud Director servers communicate over HTTP.
