Steven Dreher of Green House Data

Role to focus on custom client infrastructure solutions for the enterprise

CHEYENNE, WY – November 17, 2015 - Green House Data, a leading provider of cloud hosting, colocation, and IT services, announced today the hire of Steven Dreher as Director of Solution Architecture, effective immediately.

Dreher brings over fourteen years of experience to Green House Data, having previously served as Chief Technology Officer for the Wyoming Supreme Court. He holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Wyoming – School of Business.

“Steven’s many years of experience in the technology industry will be critical to service a growing number of complex enterprise clients, especially as these businesses embrace hybrid IT,” said Green House Data CEO Shawn Mills. “His experience leading major projects with the Wyoming Supreme Court will translate well to other high-level organizations.”

Dreher joins the company at a time of rapid expansion. Founded in 2007, Green House Data has grown from a single Cheyenne, Wyoming facility to seven nationwide data centers, including in the Westin Building Exchange, a major technology hub in Seattle, Washington. Committed to sustainability, Green House Data powers its infrastructure entirely with renewable energy,  and uses outside ambient air for cooling year-round, and practices energy saving across all data center properties.

As Director of Solution Architecture, Dreher will work with clients to design custom infrastructure solutions both vertically (for example, for the healthcare and software industries) and horizontally (for example, for disaster recovery or hosted virtual desktops).

“I came to Green House Data to be part of a world class company in a high-growth and developing industry,” said Dreher. “Cloud computing has yet to realize its full potential, and being part of a Wyoming-based company that is passionate about combining ‘green’ and technology in that sector is a perfect fit for me.”
