Finalist for Green Business of the Year
Denver, CO – Green House Data, a leader in cloud hosting and a VMware vCloud® Powered Partner, today announced it has been selected as a finalist for the 2013 Green Business of the Year Award. On Friday, April 26th the Denver Metro Chamber will select winners across this and five other categories: Small Non-profit of the Year, Minority/Women-owned Business of the Year, Large Non-profit of the Year, Emerging Business of the Year, and Small Business of the Year.
Finalists for the Green Business of the Year Award were selected based on criteria such as sustainability initiatives, community involvement, and management philosophy. Green House Data operates nationwide data centers that use innovative facility design to achieve 40% greater efficiency than the average data center. An EPA Green Power Partner, Green House Data is sustainably powered by a combination of wind and solar energy. In addition, the company recycles computing hardware and cabling domestically.
