Using Azure Pipelines with a GitHub Open Source Project Article
Microsoft has recently launched Azure DevOps as much more than a re-branding of Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS).One of the announcements is the availability of the major VSTS features as independent services. Azure Pipelines is the stand alone build and release services in Azure DevOps.By offering Azure Pipelines as a standalone service, it makes integrating with other services much easier especially when some services from VSTS overlapped with the 3rd party tools.Azure Pipelines integration with GitHub wasannouncedat the same time. This announcement not only brings the build and release capabilities available to GitHub users, it also increases the free build minutes from 240 to 1800 for private repositories (repos) and includes unlimited minutes with ability to run 10 parallel jobs for open source projects.
